By far my favorite quartet of all time, the women of Salut Salon are as funny, inventive, and creative as they are talented, skilled and beautiful.
I’ve been an admirer of their music and them since I first saw one of their performances back in 2009, which is just months after they became a quartet.

“The Summer”, composed by Antonio Vivaldi, becomes the stage for a musical competition. Salut Salon fight acrobatically and with a special sense of humor — this is a Salut Salon classic, a live recording from the movie “Salut Salon. The Movie”, directed by musicfilmmaker Ralf Pleger.
To the ladies of Salut Salon (my favorite quartet):
Angelika, Iris, Anne-Monika and Sonja, and of course Oskar,
if you ever need a double bass player for a quintet, (or if I ever get the chance to just hang out and play with any of you), I’m your man!
I’ve been playing the Double Bass since the age of 12 (just over 25 years now), and I’d be honored if I can perform with you all, even if it’s just one song in a practice session.
It would mean the world to me. A Double Bass would be a perfect fit, and I have a fro and everything!
Ever a fan and admirer,
~ Dexter
