Feature Request: Mood Strip on XBOX controllers!

Well it looks like someone on the XBOX forums is going to try and take my idea for their own so I’m going to post it here as proof that it was my idea. I tried contacting the XBOX dev team directly but was told to post on the Wishlist section of the forums, and now my suggestion is gone.

My Idea:

Since people are all hyped about controllers on their console and want stuff like a light bar (which is highly overrated), my suggestion was a mood strip on the controller. Remember mood rings? Same idea here, except it would send your mood as a signal to the console and it would affect game play.

For example, if you’re angry you attack power would do more damage, or if you’re playing a driving game, steering would be more focused.

I also suggested a “mood profile” where after a while, your unique personality moods are saved and it would affect how your character levels up and looks.

For example, it would affect the stats you get when you level, and even your current mood would affect how your character looks, changing weapon and clothes color, eyes and so on.

Maybe even affect how people react to you in game and give you different options that you wouldn’t have had before. Abilities based on moods and so on.

I think it would take gaming to a whole new level and make characters truly unique and personable. Imagine a game that changes based on your mood. Decision being available/unavailable if you’re really upset, new quests and areas, etc.

So that was my suggestion on the forum, and today it’s gone – so if you see this feature coming out in a big announcement, remember it was here first!

In fact, like and share – maybe we can get XBOX/Microsoft’s attention and they actually do it!
