I Dreamed About Dave and Dave … and Chris Record!
For those of you who don’t know who Dave and Dave are, or who Chris Record is, I’ll tell you why my entire team is laughing at me right now.
And to be honest, unless you’re in this business… you probably wouldn’t get it until you see them for yourself because they aren’t what you might picture when you think of the “typical” business people.
About 6 months ago, I was still in the process of recovering from a financial hell that began actually in 2011. I’d been working from home as a contractor that developed web applications and did development and such, and at the same time running a PC repair business on the side, and sling software when I could, when my contract was cut due to budget cuts. That was a couple weeks before thanksgiving 2011.
Side note: You know how they say that you need to have at three months living expenses saved up in case you lose your job or something? Well, “they lied!” By the time January had ended I had completely burned through my savings and the only thing keeping me afloat were the jobs here and there in between.
After having been through it and played by the rules, I’m going to say thatif you don’t have at least a year’s worth of savings you’re playing with fire, because now the average job search takes four to six months or more.
Anyway, one day I was talking to a friend Chris Record, and I don’t remember exactly the conversation, but I know I was looking for a way to make more money and I had known him previously, and he is a successful person.
The thing to know about Chris is that he is possibly one of the most intuitive people I know. He doesn’t talk much, but he has an ability to figure people out quickly, and he’s very straight-forward.
He was the one that introduced me to Dave and Dave, and let me tell you, even I had to laugh. He was wearing a wife beater and short and you can hear the pool going off in the background, with long hair.
Honestly I’ve never seen anything like him. I came out of like Amway and doing home meetings where every week I had to put on my Sunday best and look professional. But anyway, there he was talking about this business and making money online, and I don’t know at what point I got past the look and started listening, but I’m glad I did.
Just a few days ago I posted an update on my Facebook about a HUGE financial breakthrough that I had.
I looked back at where I started 2012 – in massive debt and pulling my hair out trying to just stay afloat, and where I am now in 2013 and I almost cried when I saw the difference. Man, what a difference a year makes!

The business that Dave and Dave started, and Chris Record introduced me to, had paid for all but one of my bills.
